Alongside the announcement, the company released character trailers introducing two self-styled âangels,â Himeru and Mikotoru, whose English-language voice portrayals are credited to Mitsuki Saiga and Toshiyuki Morikawa, respectively. Himeru serves as the impulsive catalyst urging the protagonist forward, while Mikotoru provides measured counsel but deflects probing questions. A separate trailer presents the main character, Rei Shimobe, brought to life by Aoi Yuki. Shimobe awakens in a borrowed body with no recollection of a former life as the organizationâs founder and masquerades as an investigator to unmask their killer within four days.
Â
SHUTEN ORDER merges five distinct gameplay stylesâfrom stealth horror to multi-perspective visual novel segmentsâin a collaboration between DMM GAMES and Tookyo Games, under the creative direction of Kazutaka Kodaka of Danganronpa fame. Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. will publish the Steam version, while Spike Chunsoft, Inc. manages the Nintendo Switch release in North America and Europe.

Â
In addition to the Ministry Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition is available at $64.99, bundling the game with an art book and a mini soundtrack, neither sold separately. Switch pre-orders of any edition include a digital novella supervised by Kodaka, âBefore the Murders â case: Manji Fushicho,â which explores the trials that forge a future minister of security.
